Our CEO in Somos La Revista

CEO and entrepreneur, Emily Delgado, makes an exciting feature of La Aventura de una Joven Empresaria Hispana in Somos La Revista where she sincerely shares her adventure of a lifetime. From growing up in South Florida as a young woman in love with the countryside to gaining educational and professional credentials both in business and people.

E&M Western Couture CEO Emily Delgado began her entrepreneurial career at age 15, freelancing on websites and apps. As she gained experience working with top people and building businesses for many startups, she knew she needed to start her own company at 17. E&M Western Couture started out selling handmade crocheted items, later growing into a company with almost 5+ stores. Her store consists of all denim and non-denim items, the motto is "For denim and non-denim fashion lovers!".

Emily is now 18 years old, and has been running her business, E&M Western Couture, while advancing 3 years in her education. She has her Associates Degree in General Business Arts, along with her Business Operations certificate and Small Business Entrepreneurship badge. She has had the privilege of meeting amazing people, and working with wonderful interns who have made an impact at her fingertips.

Not only that, but she is currently running for Miss Homestead Rodeo Queen 2024. Through this blossoming journey of running towards her goal, Emily has learned from individuals of all types, forming relationships as a young Hispanic woman in South Florida to improve her professionalism and outreach skills, trying to sell the most ballots keeping in mind that every ballot sold is a vote for her to win the title of Queen, the more ballots she sells the greater the chance of winning.

Sponsored by Progressive Opportunities, if she wins the title, 10% of all ticket proceeds will be given to this non-profit organization, which focuses on helping K-College students receive scholarships and educational opportunities. Emily chose this non-profit because of her personal connection to the cause, as a low-income student she understands the struggle internally and externally, and wants students to have that opportunity to grow academically, just as she did.

To purchase a ticket online click here or enter through this link. To purchase a ticket in person contact this number: (786) 307-7853.

Also, if you don't want to go to the rodeo, she also accepts donations, which all donations will be made equivalent to tickets. That will count as a vote for her, and tickets will be given to those who can't afford it but would like to attend the rodeo. You can donate at her GoFundMe linked below:

In addition, Emily has recently suffered a tragic loss. Her horse, Babydoll (Doll), was brutally killed on January 3, 2024. Unfortunately, there is nothing she can do to bring her back, but since she had intended to ride her horse on rodeo day, she has now had to take a horse that is not hers to ride. For this reason she has started a GoFundMe in honor of her horse to raise funds for a new horse, as she had intended to ride her own horse on rodeo day. To help her out the link is below:
